Emma Winter

Emma represented Great Britain many times at International competitions whilst living in the Untied States . Her greatest accomplishments were with Mahogany Chief at Kentucky CCI**** where they finished 15th and 19th in 2005 & 2006. The pair also completed Burghley CCI**** in 2005 with another clear XC round.

After moving back to the UK in 2009 to focus on a smaller business model producing young horses Emma had competitive success taking her to the 2012 British Young Horse 7YO Championships on Arlando jumping double clear in the CCI 2* after which he was purchased by olympic rider,  Aoife Clarke who competed him to CCI 3* level.

Emma now focuses her time on producing a string of young horses at Wayfarer Eventing and with her excellent attention to detail she has gained some impressive results.
Over the past two seasons Emma has been successfully producing her own horse, Capitaine De Hus Z who has progressed up the levels from a 4YO.  In 2018 they competed at Millstreet CCI 1* jumping double clear to finish 12th.

For the 2019 season Emma has added to her string of horses with the addition of Espoir Landais, a 5YO Selle Francais and Farceur D'Elle a 4YO Selle Francais by World Champion, Tenereze.  They will both be aimed at contesting Young Horse classes this summer.

Alongside competing her own horses  Emma specialises in the all round education of young horses for private owners.  The excellent facilities Wayfarer Eventing offers ensures the right preparation environment for exposure ahead of competition and production either through long or short term training livery.

Amelia Winter

Amelia has been riding since 3 years of age, having been a member of the Cotswold Hunt Pony Club as part of the Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing teams.

British Eventing debut started at the age of 12 on her first competition pony called, Hurtstock Bright Light, competing at Intro (BE90) for 2 seasons.  Amelia produced her first horse Eskimo Joe, from a 5yr old to Novice level successfully with the support and training from both her parents, Mike and Emma.

Following on from securing a ride on Emotion in 2017, owned by Shona and Lucy Rogers, Amelia progressed from Novice to jumping clear XC at her first CCI 1* at Osberton International.

During her time at Wayfarer Eventing Amelia has had opportunities to train with Pippa Funnell from The Billy Stud and more recently with Angela Tucker,  Yogi Breisner and Caroline Moore.
In 2018 Amelia was fortunate enough to join the Japanese Eventing team in Portugal on the Sunshine Tour where she successfully completed two weekends of competition at CIC 1* and CCI 1*, securing her a spot on the Central Region U18 Championship Team.

Another accolade in 2018 was to be selected for the U18 Development Squad representing GBR, at Millstreet in the CIC1* where Amelia finished 8th overall and best placed junior in her section.

After spending 2 years at Hartpury College Amelia is now based with Angela Tucker with her two rides, Emotion and Geronimo VIII.

Amelia is now focused on being able to qualify,  with the ambition to be selected for the Frickley Central Region Championship Team.
